![]() ![]() There were a number of moments that I got tired of listening to Morton, but the story itself kept me engaged. Joseph Morton has a limited scope of voice manipulation and I've listen to many other books he has narrated. This PA story twists the modern day terror treat with a unique perspective on a mutant/zombie bio threat. I generally enjoy Hopf's work, but I think the narrator left me cringing on this one. If this book were a movie would you go see it? He has very little voice flexuation, but he is able to make slight little changes from character to character, but he runs out of distinguishable character voices quickly. He sort of reminds me of listening to "Grandpa's stories" kind of thing. Joseph Morton is not a horrible narrator, but he also isnt really good. What aspect of Joseph Morton’s performance would you have changed? Maybe, it wouldnt be the first book recommendation i would give. Would you recommend Day of Reckoning to your friends? Why or why not? I am a fan of Hopf's work, but i cant say so much for Joseph Morton. ![]()
